I went back and forth on these after reading the reviews. I decided to try them out and I’m glad I did! They’re super cute and work very well. You get what you pay, I’m not a groomer so I’m not using them hard- just using to touch up my Goldens between grooms. A lot of reviews said they didn’t cut… they came with a little tool to tighten the screw which adjusts the cutting ability. I’ve had no issues or complaints!
I love their appearance, and the cutting ability is overall good. They do dull more quickly and I am guessing the metal used is a bit softer than some other brands.
I show dogs so use these to get them ready for the ring, and for grooming and tidying the dogs' coats at home. Dog grooming scissors can be VERY expensive and I was looking for affordable alternatives that would do a quality job. These do not disappoint.
I’m a professional groomer and I was skeptical about getting these because of the price but I am so happy I did. I used them today for the first time and they are super sharp and feel very nice. They’re not too heavy but not cheap feeling AT ALL. So far comparable to some of the high end ones I have tried. I’ll update if they don’t last long or anything but so far so good.
Have yet to receive the grooming set we ordered over two weeks ago … Not sure why we’re being asked to review it just yet as we are still waiting …
